The Covid-19 pandemic has challenged, changed and allowed Nolij to grow to meet the needs of the business and the needs of our employees. Despite operating remotely now, Nolij stands behind its core values and has worked hard to ensure that our employees remain at the heart of the company. We are constantly trying to find new ways to reinforce a sense of community by having virtual team happy hours, online zoom yoga classes, virtual coffee chats, a virtual holiday party and even an ugly sweater competition! We care deeply about our employees and check-in regularly, deliver care packages with masks and sanitizer, and have introduced Lunch on Us. Lunch on Us is designed to help employees stay connected with their team members during the pandemic by virtually sharing lunch once a month compliments of Nolij. Through our newsletter, employees stay in the know about their colleagues and company developments. Afterall, happy and healthy employees motivate and energize each other and our company.

Nolij partners with award-winning Xtremelabs to provide online training and certification to advance professional development. In addition, we provide qualifying employees education/training reimbursement and other opportunities for all full-time employees. At Nolij, employees’ children are part of the company fabric and many intern and work here to gain valuable work experience.
Supporting our Local Communities
We believe in giving back to our local communities. We give back to our veterans in appreciation of their service by supporting the Women Veterans Interactive (WVI) and Operation Renewed Hope Foundation (ORHF). WVI assists female veterans in transitioning back to civilian life and ORHF helps over 100 veterans and their families in the DC metro area who are experiencing homelessness find a home. Nolij is proud to stand with the Inova frontline heroes, who are working tirelessly to provide essential services to families, neighbors, and the community, by supporting the Inova Health System’s Emergency Preparedness Plan. Nolij helps provide resources such as gowns, gloves, masks, and meals to Inova’s 19,000 frontline staff and physicians during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Having Fun Together
We have happy hours, yoga, annual holiday parties and company picnics. We have continued with these traditions virtually in 2020. We also have a Nolij kickball team!
